The work of Legacy can mean a child gets an education and a fair go, a widow is not disadvantaged and alone and a family is not torn apart by the effects of post-traumatic stress or other psychological injuries.

Legacy is a voluntary organisation providing services to Australian families suffering financially or socially after the incapacitation or death of a spouse or parent during or after their defence force service. Legacy Brisbane supports 6,226 family members of fallen and injured veterans across South-East, Central and Western Queensland.
